Active development of the agricultural sector of the economy is not possible without conducting strategically aligned, stage-by-stage activities aimed at a modernization and updating of the existing fleet of cars, without the improvement of the transportation and logistics infrastructure. The construction of main traffic arteries which correspond to the market needs stimulate the export potential, helps increasing economic indicators of the sector of economy in general.
Historical experience of the countries that have been leading in production and export of grain shows that an well-developed transportation and logistical system only stimulates the development of the grain market, including not just the trading activities, but also the agricultural component related to the production за grain, while, on the contrary, logistical “bottlenecks” put the brakes on the economy.
Rusagrotrans considers, for its part, that it is necessary to actively participate in the development of the infrastructure pertaining to its economic segment, including the transportation sector and the terminal and storage facilities. Within the framework of this task Rusagrotrans is planning to participate in programs aimed at expanding port facilities and modernizing line grain silos. It is expected that consolidated actions by all market participants will allow to drastically increase export capacities.
